I am a Consultant in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine at The Physicians’ Clinic and The Princess Grace Hospital, alongside my NHS work at The Royal Free Hospital in London. I look after patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering high-quality, evidence-based and personalised care.
My Philosophy
I take a thorough, holistic and compassionate approach when treating my patients; ensuring their needs and wishes are at the heart of the care I provide. I pay close attention to my patients’ cultural and health beliefs, as well as supporting them with the wider impact of their condition and treatment on their lives.
Treatments
Rheumatology
Rheumatology is a branch of medicine which covers a wide variety of conditions. These include diseases of the musculoskeletal system such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and gout, as well as multi-organ conditions such as vasculitis and lupus. Some of these conditions are due to disorders of the immune system, known as autoimmune diseases.
Acute & General Internal Medicine
Internal medicine is a specialty which involves the rapid assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult patients requiring urgent medical attention. This includes the immediate management of life-threatening medical emergencies, the initial treatment non-life-threatening general medical conditions, and the provision of same day emergency care.
